Easy-going Intuitive Loyal Versatile Quiet Uninhibited Greedy Ruthless Vengeful Anxious
Quiet and cunning are probably the best words to describe this poisonous gal. She's relaxed and easy-going most of the time, pretty agreeable and not one to judge due to her own questionable morals. She'll be good as long as you don't mess with her or those she's watching over. Once you earn her trust she'll be as loyal as a guard dog, keeping secrets and standing by your side no matter the situation. Street smart and resourceful, she'll get any job done for the right price, this moth will help you if you talk her language: money. Not a loud individual, unless her opinions are challenged and/or dismissed like they have no importance. While usually calm she can have her low moments of anxiety, resulting in a sudden loss of control, usually triggered by old memories that can completely take over her behavior. This bug doesn't know any modesty, she'd be fine stripping off her clothes and talking of uncomfortable topics if necessary. She's a great friend but a mortal enemy. If you've made the mistake of turning this bug against you she'll have no mercy, tracking you down to the edge of the world until she's certain to have obliterated your face from the planet.
Being part of the Kanto Air Force was an honor, serving your region and wearing it's colors with pride and dignity to make every day a little better for everyone. Those were the words young September heard every day in her modest home, back in Celadon City when she was just a child. Her father was in service for the military of Kanto, lieutenant, kind of an absent parent most of the time considering his job. Not enough time to play with his multiple children, not affectionate enough as most would say, stoic and strict he did what he thought was best for his family. Right?
Truth to be told, September didn't have an easy life. Her family wasn't exactly wealthy and it was quite numerous. Her mother used to work for the militia too, a cook who fell in love with one of the new soldiers. It seemed like a fairy tale at first. They got married, they had kids. He was kind and loving to her and their kids, until those secret missions started. Flying into enemy territory without being spotted was not an easy task and after a few months the plane he was piloting got knocked down and it’s crew captured and tortured. The man was never the same after that. In order to be able to sleep he turned to alcohol, which made him forget the horrors but also turned him rather violent. September was ten years old when she first saw him beating her mother, her screaming only turned the attention to her. It is even stupid to say after that, the young girl was deadly afraid most of the time, terrified the second her father stepped into their humble home. Locking herself up and listening to the constant yelling and getting panic attacks because of it, trying to focus on something else, a book, music… she found out that looking at the sky and finding shapes in clouds or constellations helped her relax. The sky was something that amazed her, it’s colors, it’s shapes, how it changed every hour and how it was not the same if you looked from a different location. She found comfort in her loneliness.
She feared her father but she wanted to become a pilot just like him. When she turned eighteen she left home and enlisted herself in the Air Force, determined to leave behind that life of fear and being able to defend herself and her family. Starting from scratch, the newly evolved venomoth showed an extraordinary skill and natural talent as a pilot and a navigator. Able to find her way through difficult environments without a scratch, fast and quiet. A couple of years passed and she made her way up the ranks really fast for someone her age, assigned to several missions… she was making a name for herself which was great… and bad at the same time. The young woman was finally starting to trust others, work as a team and open up. But being a female pilot in a man controlled world was not easy and there was this very specific fellow that was making sure her life wasn’t easy. Sexist comments, unwanted flirting, taking over her missions. Making her look bad under the commander’s eyes.
It was annoying, but tolerable, until one day where the man got drunk. He was, in his words, making sure the Air Force turned her into the doll she was supposed to be. He was aggressive, trying to get his hands on the female who tried running from him. Old memories sprouting back and paralyzing completely once she was cornered. He wasn’t alone, he was with her entire ‘team’, sneers and cold snickering surrounding her. She cowered at his yelling, covering her ears. Deep breaths, take deep breaths. She wasn’t a defenseless child anymore, she had training, she knew how to get him off her back, right? She knew how to get rid of them all?
The minute the guy put a finger over her, September went crazy, she was tired of this fear and was not willing to go through it ever again. It was like her mind had shut down and pure strength and survival instincts kicked in. It was only a matter of seconds before she took ahold of the drunken man and snapped his neck, her hands instinctively took his guns and shot left and right, his cold dead body followed by those of his accomplices. It was only when the bodies fell to the ground that the venomoth realized what had happened. She couldn’t go back, not after killing a soldier, not after murdering her entire team. Soldiers, they were probably the same. Every single one of them, they would not believe her words and she’d be sent to trial. No, she had to run. And run she did. Moving to the busy Commerce City, the girl questioned her own ways and lost all hope on herself, she was no better than the man who attacked her. She was no better than her father and all those violent soldiers. And so September Baxter changed.
She didn’t care, she just wanted to survive. Growing apathetic and neglectful, the girl took a job as a merchandise transporter in the city. Easy job, driving a car was simple after piloting planes. Boring… but she had money of her own and she could find a place to live peacefully. One day she took another job, they never said what she was transporting but it earned her double the money she usually got. The catch was don’t get caught, don’t let the ‘merchandise’ be seen, don’t get stopped or questioned by the police. It was obvious now the contents she was carrying weren’t legal… but the rush, the adrenaline she felt as she drove that car around the streets of the city, hiding, stopping, accelerating. It was like old times, it was secret missions, it was important… and it gave her enough cash to send back home. She was born to do this, and she took job after job, not questioning the customers. Money is money, it doesn’t matter where it comes from.
After a few years word reached Commerce City of a renegade soldier, who had murder a group of her colleagues. She was dangerous and had to be brought back to justice. The moth panicked, she had to run away once more. She was at a bar overhearing a small chit chat among some mysterious fellows about this place they had a ticket to, a place that could mean a new beginning of some sort. As the venomoth marched out of the bar she took the ticket out of one of the man’s pocket and read her new destination: VYSE.
